NEMS, Daly City

This 5,000 SF medical clinic project involved extensive improvements on the second floor of a two-story occupied building. The new HVAC units on the roof required new steel reinforcements and a roof screen. The project also required all new electrical, and new energy-saving lighting and plumbing fixtures, including 100% hands-free fixtures and low-flow fixtures. Hillhouse was also responsible for floor-to-deck-above drywall, new ceiling systems, new millwork, appliances and accessories, and updating of covered vinyl flooring by accenting with attractive paint colors throughout. It also included a NEMS signage program to provide assistance for ADA accessibility.
